Awards, Recognition, Achievements The Jack Eastep Award Jack was born Marion L (Jack) Eastep on June 21, 1904. He had no children. He joined Search & Rescue in Las Vegas, Nevada and was an originator of National. He was very interested in First Aid work and was the First Aid Chairman until 1960; Doc Dickson then replaced him. He donated the first large First Aid Trophy. A statement that Jack made was " I get great satisfaction having given such a living contribution to those who work so hard in first aid services and learning up to date methods and in teaching and assisting others."
